Butterfly Garden Playdate

It has become an anual tradition to visit Back Home on the Farm  for their event of the Butterfly Garden. This is such a wonderful time for kids to get up close to beautiful butterflies. They were able to dip sticks into sugar water to attract the butterflies and explore the small creatures. Besides the butterflies, the farm offers lots of other activities. There is a long slide, a carousel, playhouses, and farm animals. Back Home on the Farm is a great place to visit as a family and has fun events throughout the year. Looking forward to visiting again in the fall!

Father's Day Craft Play Date

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, and he who begets a wise son will be glad in him. Proverbs 23:24

From scribbles, to pictures, to actual words, these Father's Day mugs and cards decorated for our amazing dads and granddads! It was really precious to see each child put so much effort and love into this craft for those special men in their lives. It s truly a blessing to have such wonderful dads to celebrate and to thank them for all that they do!

Blessings to our daddies! ~MP

Family Trip to Natural Bridge Zoo

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6

As we started out the drive to the Natural Bridge Zoo, rain and clouds were in our midst. As we neared our destination, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared up, and  beautiful sunshine was in the sky. Don't get me wrong, rain and clouds are beautiful too because all of God's weather is a blessing! However, walking around in a zoo is more enjoyable without rain!

As we walked into the zoo, we were greeted by a beautiful cougar (mountain lion, as well many other names it is known by). Not only was it exciting for the children to explore the animal world, but as an adult, I was amazed with all the varieties of animals that God has created! There were species I've never even heard of (as crazy as it sounds)!

It was a blessing to enjoy God's creation from small to large, from cute to majestic. Can't wait for the next family event! ~MP
